After I bought my little black greyhound I was inundated with questions from friends, family and colleagues about her and greyhound racing in general. As Molly's fan base steadily grew, it became increasingly difficult to let everyone see the pictures, know how she was, when she was to race and how she went in her last race. To save people feeling left out if I was unable to inform them of Molly's progress I started the original web site.
When Molly's short racing career was over and she became a mum I ceased updating her site and much water has passed under the greyhound bridge since then. Now her pups are getting ready to start their racing career I have started Wasabik Greyhounds to alleviate the same communication problems.
Wasabik was a name I came up with originally as an email address (wasabik@iprimus.com.au) for emails relevant to Wasabi Miss (k is for Kavanagh). In finding a name for this site I began with Wasabi Kennels, but the Wasabi Miss family are in several kennels and I don't have a kennel complex myself - as yet.
